Automatic Hydraulic Flood Barrier
Highly robust, automatic flood defence system
The Automatic Hydraulic Flood Barrier is a passive flood defence measure which is highly suitable for rapid onset flooding, when there is little time to deploy manual measures. They are therefore especially beneficial for areas that are prone to flash flooding or areas vulnerable to tidal surges.
This system is completely embedded flush into the ground, ensuring no trip hazard. The barrier top plate can also be adapted to ensure visual integration with the surrounding area, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing finish.
The system has four modes of operation:
- Automatic – by level sensor
- Semi-automatic – by switch
- Semi-automatic – by remote control
- Manual
